The course is ideal for anyone in the green industry that uses pesticides and wants to stay current with their license requirements. It’s also helpful for those considering the use of pesticides. This course is approved by MO Department of Agriculture (MDA) and meets the requirements for the following:

  • Recertification of Pesticide Applicators (Category 2, 3, and 6)
  • Technician Retraining (for existing technicians in Category 3)
  • Exam Preparation for those that want initial training to prepare for the core exam and category exams

MDA has approved on-line recertification for this year (please read requirements listed here)

Once you are registered, you will receive a log-in code a few days prior to the course. The log-in link will be sent to the email you provide when you register. The link is good for one person to attend the virtual session from 8:00am-3:00pm. Internet access with the ability to view and hear video will be required to participate. Camera not needed. You will need to be logged in for the entire broadcast to receive credit for your attendance and be eligible for recertification. Existing technicians will also receive credit for “re-training” that is required by MDA. Strict adherence to MDA policies is maintained. Full attendance at required sessions is a must for credit to be received. MDA will receive notice of your attendance and you will receive a certificate of attendance for your records.

Six hours of ISA CEUs will be provided for ISA Certified

Courses are approved for recertification in Category 2, 3, and 6 by the Missouri Department of Agriculture and also approved for technician re-training in Category 3. Six hours of technician training will be provided.

Six hours of ISA CEUs will be provided for ISA Certified Arborists.

This class does not offer the full 10 hours of classroom training for new technician trainees. However, if you have a person that you want to train as a new technician, we can provide you with a “notice of training” form for the six hours this training will provide. You will need to provide the remaining four hours of classroom training and the on-the-job training required by MDA.

We understand this will be a unique experience for some. Brief lags or drops in your internet connectivity are OK, as long as you re-connect as soon as possible. The log-in code and info you receive will include steps for easy log-in to the event. You will need a computer with speakers and internet access. Cameras are not needed.
